(Hi everyone!)

(this week was crazy!!)

(my new comp is hilarious, we had an amazing week, I love Paraguay especially the food, my Spanish is amazing and I feel fully capable of missionary work and talking to others, and the moose is just because I like mooses)

we have a member in the word that cant read, so he always trys to communicate with just emojis.  Thought I'd try it out.  But seriously, I hope everyone is well.  I'd love to get an email from y'all about how everything is going.

I had a really great week!  My new comp, Elder Woodward, is really awesome.  I feel like my first comp, Elder Park, taught me to enjoy my mission.  But Elder Woodward is teaching me how to enjoy the missionary work.  He's such a hardworker, but he also makes every second fun.  He's really taught me the joy of spreading the gospel and sharing my testimony.  He's also a talker.  I know people that like to talk, but no one like him.  There's never a silent moment lol.

I want to share a little miracle that happened!  This whole week, I've been focusing on having the spirit more with me.  On friday, I prayed that i could have an impression from the Spirit and follow it.  We were in a lesson with our friend Vanessa, and the goal was to put her on date for baptism.  We were talking about it and Vanessa expressed concerns about being able to keep the baptismal covenant having to go to church every week and things like that.  My comp started talking about church and all the blessings and things like that, but it didn't feel right.  I had a thought come to mind and I interrupted my comp (which I NEVER do) to share the thought.  I talked about how we receive the Spirit after baptism.  He can help us AVOID making wrong choices, but also helps us RETURN to the gospel after we do make wrong choices.  We can't follow our baptismal covenant perfectly, but God knows this and gave us the Holy Ghost to help us when we don't.  After I shared that thought, Vanessa turned to me, told me that what I said helped a lot, and then accepted the date!

Maybe a couple of you connected the dots here.  My comp is always talking, but I never interrupt him.  Yep, that's right, I never talk.  My comp and I have had whole conversations where I don't say a word.  It works out pretty well though because I love to listen.  And we set goals so that I talk during the lessons and have time to bear my testimony and share my thoughts about scriptures.  All things considered, I'm really happy with everything right now.  I love to be out in the streets and a I love to listen to my comp's stories and share what I need to say without having to talk too much.

I love it! I'll talk to yall again soon!  Enjoy the week!
