A Thirsty Fish

Alright guys, it has been a couple weeks so I'll see what I can remember!

First of all, teaching people is the best.  We're working with a family of 6 people right now and they are the absolute best!  I don't think there's a better feeling in the world than when a mom sends you picture of all of her kids reading the book of mormon, or when someone sends you a text that says "I definitely see myself getting baptized," or when you think your friends didn't show up to church but you look behind you and there's an entire family sitting there smiling at you, or when a 9 year-old kid walks up to you and tells you he prayed about it and knows that the Book of Mormon is true.  What more could I want as a missionary?  This family is perfect and I love teaching them so much.  It's a once in a lifetime blessing that I'm experiencing right now.  I hope that my brief description of my missionary joy has helped yall to feel a bit of this joy as well.

Also there was a cow standing alone in a field of tall grass.  It started mooing a whole bunch, so I asked a Paraguayan why it wouldn't stop mooing.  She casually told me the cow was just hungry and continued with the conversation.  My first thought was "oh okay, that makes sense"  but then I thought about it more and now I'm just straight up confused.  If I was standing in a bunch of hamburgers that came right up to my knees, would I moo because I was hungry?  No!  I would eat the hamburgers!  I'm not quite sure where the disconnect comes from in the brain of this cow.  I tried to explain the simple grass-eating solution that I had found to this cows problem, but the cow didn't quite get it.

Anyway, other updates include:
-Spanish usually way easier than English
-I worked with pink eye all week
-My comp was NOT sick this week
-3 more baptisms
-I had interviews with President and I have a feeling that I'll be training soon
-A surprisingly large number of people actually do want to get married

Hope yall have a great week
