Round And Round We Go
Hello again,
This week has been pretty interesting. For one thing, it's been cold. I've been going around wearing basically everything I have. Half of Paraguay is sick because of the weather, including me. Nobody wants to leave their house because nobody can stand the cold. We've been outside all day everyday and almost no one has received us. The worst part is, it was 50 degrees outside. That shouldn't even be cold. But again, that's 70 degrees less than what I'm used to. It's ridiculous.
On Wednesday I was sick from eating slightly raw chicken. We stayed in the house all day and during this time we had 3 progressing friends text us that they couldn't continue meeting with us. And remember that super awesome family that I talked about last week? Their dad was one of them. Imagine how depressing that could be. I was pretty exhausted and intent on sleeping, so it didn't end up bothering me too much, but I still wasn't doing super great. However, thanks to the goodness of God, he texted the next morning and told us he wanted to talk with us and had hope that we could help him! We stopped by and he told us a bit about what happened. Sounds like after texting us, he read something we had left him and prayed about it, and God touched his heart and he knew it was true!
I'm being blessed here in pirayú! I have tough days (like wednesday) but the miracles and joy I feel make it so worth it! I had other things I wanted to say, but I'm a little short on time. Love yall and have a great week!
