I'm Back! . . . And I'm Leaving!

Well hello everybody!  I made it out alive!

It has been wayyy too long since I last wrote an email.  Last time I warned yall that maybe it would be a couple weeks because I would be just too darn busy.  Well... it's been almost a full month (my bad).  I don't know if you want to read a month's worth of office elder rants but too bad.  But, for those of you who easily get second-hand stress, I promise it will be more chill today.

I have been somewhat busy, just not train-wreck busy.  Three pday ago we had to take the missionaries that were going home that transfer to the temple.  I was gone the whole day and just didn't have time to do much except call my family.  That week wasn't too busy.  We did have a few zone conferencias that we pushed back until almost the end of the transfer though, leaving everything a little rushed but not completely out of control.  The next week we did the gira.  We went to encarnacion and ciudad del este.  I got to drive almost the whole way, which is about a 20 hour loop.  It wasn't too exciting except for the get-sent-home threats I got from President and the part where half my comps body was hanging out the window on the drive in a work zone because he couldn't stop throwing up.  Just normal office things.

We were in Ciudad del Este on that pday so that didn't work out so well.  But at least it was fun.  We wanted to change our pday to later in the week but it didn't happen.  The coming week was transfer week.  Every transfer week I just know that I'll be writing a long email with at least 10 crazy stories that I want to share.  I just never know what the stories will be at that point.  Well these transfers were a little different.  I got the surprising news that I will be leaving the office!  I started training!  This time during all the transfers I just watched my poor trainee struggle while I gave him helpful advice from the sidelines.  It is so funny.  Apparently I do a lot.  And apparently it takes quite a toll on people haha.  These last two weeks have been surprisingly relaxing.  I just watch and answer all the questions he has (which is a lot).  Actually, training has really helped me realize how much I have grown in the office (which is a lot).  I am feeling so ready to get out to the field and start teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.  I am pumped.  I feel like I have so much knowledge that I just need to share with the people that are ready to receive it.  The rumor is that I'll be out of the office before the transfer ends.  Could happen anytime now.

I kinda feel like this last transfer was like my final boss.  I trained and trained and was able to put on those 14 conferences.  Now I am just super chill.  Everything has just gotten too easy.  I literally fell asleep doing one of my daily tasks the other day and when I woke up it was done.  I had no idea how but I am 99% certain that I did it in my sleep.  I have been here too long haha.

That is all for this week.  Hope that we avoided all that second-hand stress.  I love you all!  Talk to you next week!
