Hola! Wie Geht Es Dir?

Hola!!!  How is everyone?

These last two weeks have been rather odd.  Everyday this week I have realized that my life is not normal.  We were on our way to the church to make lunch with other missionaries before the conference and someone gave me a weird look.  I thought, "what?  Did I do something wrong?"  Then I looked down and realized that I was a very white american guy wearing a full suit and carrying a giant pot and a bag of chicken.  Then I realized that nothing about that is normal here in Paraguay, but for me it's just life.

I feel like I have grown a lot recently.  I love that the mission provokes so much change.  One thing I started doing was putting a way bigger focus on having the Spirit with me always.  In every single lesson I wanted to feel the spirit and show our investigatores that this is the truth.  We had some very powerful lessons and frankly stopped wasting a lot of time with those that aren't willing to hear the Spirit.

Also the time is just going by too fast.  It's not even fair.  I've had way too many reminders of how old I am in the mission.  For example...

-The hermanas that arrived to Paraguay with me are going home in two weeks
-My trainee hit a year on the mission
-A member was talking about a missionary that served here in 2021, he was my first zone leader.

Those were some crazy reminders for me.  But I'm glad to still have 6 more months here.  Being a missionary is so cool.  During the conference they prayed for the missionaries in almost every prayer.  I was reminded that I'm only a missionary once.  I love being a missionary.  Not very often does the entire church meet together and pray for you.  But that happened in like 8 prayers in the last two days.

Welp that's about it this week!  We're still in the grind to find people!  Everyday is full of fun contacts with random strangers and many miracles!  Love yall!
